The Past

  • We donated over $40,000 to the Spring Hill Imagination Library over the past 5 years.
  • We awarded $20,000 in grant money to teachers in Spring Hill/Thompson’s Station schools.
  • We provided $2,875.50 to help build the new playground at Longview Elementary School.
  • We presented more than $4,250 to The Well Food Pantry in Spring Hill.
  • We sponsored the Spring Hill Christmas Tree Lighting, Christmas Parade, and the Movies in the Park, now City Fest.
  • We worked with four scouting groups to either raise funds or provide the opportunity for them to learn about helping others.
  • We served on the Board of Directors of The Spring Hill Imagination Library and proud that providing books and building home libraries created a community of lifetime learners that will benefit the children for their entire lives.

The Present

  • We serve on the Board of Directors for The Well Food Pantry.
  • We are hosting the Sixth Annual Cycling for Children Charity Bike Ride.
  • We are looking forward to the Christmas Parade and preparing for that event.
  • We are raising funds for the Priority One Teacher Grant Program.
  • We are hosting a Family Hoe Down (rather than a Father Daughter Dance).
  • We sponsor a Key Club at Summit High School.

The Future

  1. We want to set up K- Kids, Builders Clubs, and a Key Club at Independence High School to serve and teach the children of the community.
  2. We want help build a New Park in Spring Hill and watch the children play in a safe area and know we were a part of it.
  3. We know that by providing the Priority One Teacher Grants on an annual basis, we are touching, in some cases, whole schools.
  4. We know that by helping and providing funds for The Well Food Pantry, we are making sure that needy families are not going hungry.
  5. We see that by coming together as Kiwanians, we create friendships and make a difference for our community.
  6. We know that by growing our Club, we have an opportunity to reach more children.
